Bibury Court is a magical place for an unforgettable wedding day.
The romantic country house, steeped in centuries of history, is a wonderful setting for your special day, with the beautiful gardens and grounds providing an idyllic backdrop.
From intimate family gatherings to large exuberant parties, Bibury Court can host your perfect wedding. For larger numbers of guests, we can provide a spacious marquee on the lawn. We can also offer the hotel for exclusive use, giving you and your guests complete privacy. Please give us a call to discuss your requirements.
Every wedding is unique, which is why we always meet with you at the hotel well in advance to ensure we can put your ideas into practice and give you a perfect day.
As well as looking after you and your guests every step of the way, we can happily arrange all the extra touches that make the day special. Local florists can create eye-catching table centres and bouquets, for example, and hairdressers and beauticians can come to the hotel to make sure you look your very best.
Accommodation - Room to unwind before the big day
Our charming, comfortable bedrooms and unobtrusive hospitality make the perfect pre-wedding solution. You can completely relax, enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep, and get ready for your wedding in a calm, unhurried environment.
The rooms have a wealth of original features and antique furniture, with many of the bathrooms housing huge Victorian baths.
Please note that we are unable to accept single night bookings on a Saturday.
Civil Ceremonies
We have three rooms licensed for civil ceremonies at the hotel: The Study, which can accommodate up to 12 people; The Conservatory, which holds up to 32 people; and The Drawing Room, which accommodates up to 70 people. Larger guest numbers can be catered for in our marquee.
A wedding ceremony can be booked on any day of the year except Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays, and it will be the only one held at the hotel on that day.
Please make an initial appointment with our wedding coordinator, Allison Neave, who will show you around the hotel and discuss your individual requirements. Once you have chosen your wedding date, we suggest that you contact the registry office to ensure a registrar is available on that date. Should you wish to confirm your reservation, we would then require a non-refundable deposit of £1000, which will be deducted from your final bill.
Please note that we are unable to offer our licensed rooms for the civil ceremony only, with bookings needing to include the wedding breakfast as well.
Tariffs
The room hire charges are as follows:
- The Study (up to 12 people) £275
- The Conservatory (up to 32 people) £500
- The Drawing Room (up to 70 people) £800

Marquee weddings

Church Weddings
If you've set your hearts on a church wedding, St Mary's church in Bibury could be just what you're looking for. This beautiful village church dates back to the 8th century and the vicar, Jeremy Mais, is always friendly and welcoming. It is connected to Bibury Court through a gateway in the hotel grounds, so it's just a short stroll away from your wedding reception.
Wedding breakfasts
The wedding breakfast is the traditional name for the first meal eaten as husband and wife. Award-winning chef Anthony Ely can create a customised menu tailored to your requirements or click here to view a selection of menu options.
